The restaurant at the Hotel am Markt

The restaurant combines a cosy and warm atmosphere with newly designed and exclusive premises. It provides an ideal setting in which to spend time exploring the culinary delights on offer and sampling the selection of wines available from our cellar.

For us, good cuisine is all about quality, appearance and taste, not show and glamour. Many of the ingredients used in our creations are sourced from the wide range of herbs which grow in the immediate surrounding area.

Our menu offers a wide choice of hot and cold starters, snacks, a 4-course meal option and a various main dishes and desserts. We also make our own cakes and tarts.

Our wine cellar provides the perfect accompaniment to the dishes available on the menu. We stock a good assortment of wines, most of which are available by the glass. We will be happy to advise you on which wine is the best match for your menu choice or main course. We also serve well-kept lager and other beers and offer a broad range of soft drinks. Our selection of spirits is always worth examining, both before and after your meal. Choose from a range of aperitifs, or finish by enjoying a digestif such as an aromatic and soft fruit brandy.

If you have maybe had a glass of wine too many or are simply tired after a pleasant evening, we will be delighted to welcome you to our hotel for an overnight stay. A night taxi service is also available in the Bacharach district.
