Biking in the Middle Rhine area
The Rheinradweg trail
This route takes you along the bank of the river through towns such as Bacharach, Koblenz and Bonn, with one section taking you up into the vineyards above Rüdesheim and the Binger Loch. The main route mostly follows the towpath and is asphalted for long stretches through the Rheingau. Detailed instructions are hardly necessary as this is a very easy-to-follow trail.
